About This Project

In this commission for Love Leicester at DeMontfort University, I have purposefully abandoned sound for photography to create a stop motion video and selection of prints. However, my technique of recording a journey is in-line with how I would approach recording a soundscape: highlighting details that would otherwise go unnoticed. The results are an honest and detailed observation of my surroundings whilst meandering through the streets of Leicester’s West End.
